Easy Linguine Calabrese
(Printable Recipe)
1/2 lb Italian sausage
14 oz marinara sauce
1 tsp basil
1 Tbsp minced onion flakes (I would have used a shallot, but I didn't have one)
2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 cup half & half
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 lb linguine, cooked and drained
Cook sausage in skillet over medium heat until crumbled and browned. Drain any excess oil. Add marinara, basil, onion, red pepper flakes and half & half. Cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Pour over cooked linguine and toss. Garnish with grated parmesan.

This is perfect for a week night meal and I know it will be tried here.
Spaghetti is my favorite weeknight meal. I like the red pepper flake addition to this.
