The photo of the beans is great! I love it. I'll definitely have to try them.
I love beans – they are so filling and add a great flavor. Thanks for sharing!
Your fajita beef looks great. We made your chicken fingers the other day and loved them. Look for a post in the next couple of days – I'm getting a little backlogged.
Loved it. We made it with the seasoned beans because I just now read your reply. Wasn't sure if you drained your beans or not, so I assumed you did and it worked out.
The boys had tacos but Alexis and I used these beans, brown rice & cheese to make some bean and rice burritos. They were excellent.
I have about 1/2 cup left over for lunch at work tomorrow.
Great job, Steph & Legs.
You poor cold people!!! And good for Legs for getting out to that grill. My Weber is still in hibernation.
Steph, these beans are such a good idea. Black beans can be kinda bland and I've not had much luck spicing them up. Thanks for this!
Mireya – I am going to try lime in my Mexican rice next time – great tip!!
Chris – I just used plain black beans since I was adding my own seasonings.
Yay! Proud of Legs for being bad arse like that:)
I love fajitas, chicken or steak. Yours look perfectly cooked.
I like the easy bean recipe too. Were they plain black beans or Bushes seasoned ones? I really wish I had some Rotel right now, the beans would be a great lunch for me.
Yum, I bet the lime just adds some great flavor to the beans! I like to put lime on my cooked Mexican rice as well 🙂
