Pioneer Woman's Pizza Crust (Half Batch)
adapted from The Pioneer Woman Cooks
(Printable Recipe)
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp instant yeast
1/2 tsp kosher salt
40 ml olive oil
3/4 cup very warm water
1 Tbsp King Arthur Flour dough flavor (optional)
In a mixer, combine flour, yeast, pizza dough flavor and salt. With the mixer running on low speed (with paddle attachment), drizzle in olive oil until combined with flour. Next, pour in water and mix until just combined.
Coat a separate mixing bowl with a light drizzle of olive oil, and form the dough into a ball. Toss to coat dough in olive oil, then cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and store in the fridge until you need it. ***It’s best to make the dough at least 24 hours in advance, and 3 or 4 days is even better.

We love homeamde pizza at our house too. It's pretty much the only way I can get the kids to participate in the prep and clean-up! lol
That does look simple, Steph... SIMPLE is an important word for me these days!!!! We love pizza --so I may try that sometime. Thanks!!!!
Do you have snow down there today??? WE have about 2 inches and it is still coming down... Where's spring? ha
Hugs,
Betsy
Steph, I could get fat-er if I visited your blog very often. I came her by way of Betsy's blog and have enjoyed looking around. Looks like you have some great recipes worth trying. Thanks, Diana
Sounds great, I love homemade pizza. Makes me wish I had a mixer too. Heh.
I made the second half of my dough tonight for dinner (after sitting for a week in the fridge! whoops!), and it did not disappoint! I've only made a pesto pizza with it so far, so I'll need to start trying some other great toppings. I'm thinking a cheese overload for my next one;)
And guess who just bought a pizza peel recently? :)
I've only made pizza dough once and have been wanting to give it another go. I'm going for white pizza with my dough. :)
