Baked White Pepperoni Pizza Dip

This White Pizza Dip is a favorite at our house. I’ve been making this for over 10 years and it is always a hit! This cheesy dip is a staple at dinner parties and tailgating. Garlicky baked cheese and pepperoni dip – I’m in! I could honestly make a meal out of just this dip and not just eat it as an appetizer. It is ridiculously good!

How to Make White Pizza Dip

This dip is super easy to make. Simply combine a packet of Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix, sour cream, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. Spread the dip into a baking dish and bake until bubbly. SO easy!

  • I used a packet of Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix. It will be near the Onion Soup Mix at the store. You can also buy it at Amazon (https://amzn.to/35jwCMS) or at Walmart.com (https://amzn.to/3SVv467)
  • If you can’t find the Lipton mix, you can substitute a packet of Good Seasonings Italian Dressing mix.
  • Can White Pizza Dip be made in advance? Yes! You can mix up the dip and store it covered in the refrigerator until you are ready to bake it. You may need to add a few minutes to the cooking time if you are baking the dip straight out of the refrigerator.
  • Can White Pizza dip be made in the slow cooker? Yes! You can mix up the dip and heat it in the slow cooker until warm.
  • I like to use mini pepperoni in this dip. You can also just chop up some regular pepperoni. Feel free to add more pepperoni if you prefer.
  • Don’t like pepperoni? No problem. Simply add any of your favorite pizza toppings to the dip mixture. Sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions – whatever you like will be fine.

How to Serve Ricotta & Pepperoni Dip

I like to serve this dip with some french bread slices. I actually bake tubes of refrigerated french bread in bread tubes. You can buy the bread tubes at Amazon (https://amzn.to/3kq7g6j). There are three shapes in the box – square, round scalloped flower, and a star. They really dress up the party spread!

If you don’t want to serve this with bread, this is also good with celery sticks, crackers, pita chips, or tortilla chips. Heck, I can just eat this with a spoon. SO good!

  1. I have been making savory garlic white pizza dip for years. My family loves it and friends always ask for the recipe.

  2. I used the Grillin Mates, tomato, basil, and garlic, too since Kroger didn't have the Lipton Soup mix. It was delish!!great recipe 🙂

  3. This is also awesome if you substitute the pepperoni for chicken and bacon crumbles. And you can also look in the Grillin Mates grill packs for the Herb and White Wine seasoning – also very good!!

  4. Kellie – yes, I think you could substitute some garlic powder and other Italian herbs for the soup mix and be fine.

  5. Hi, what do you think I could substitute the soup mix with? I'm from Australia and I can't find a similar looking flavour at the supermarket. Do you think I could add garlic powder and some other herbs?
    Thanks!
    Kellie

  6. I am getting a kick out of this, because my father was a Lipton salesman for about 30 years back in the day, and they didn't have this soup mix then. Just the Onion one. We always had onion dip when visitors came over. This recipe sounds delicious. I'll have to try it. Thanks. Printing the recipe now.

    1. Any substitute other than ricotta or cottage cheese? I dislike them both immensely…wonder if cream cheese would work?

  7. This looks so yummy, but is there anything that I could substitute for the ricotta? I just can't stomach that stuff. But I so wanna make this!

Thank you – your recipes all look amazing!

  8. I am high fiving you, Steph! I adore, LOVE white pizza. SO awesome that I can sorta kinda get it more often than I normally would via your dip!
