I’ve really been into flatbreads lately. I love how quick and easy they are to make after work. This time I decided to change up our regular taco night and turn it into taco flatbread night.
This was two of my favorite foods, pizza and tacos, all wrapped into one. We just had some chips and salsa with the flatbreads. This was definitely not your usual boring taco night. It was great! You can’t go wrong with this.
Taco Flatbread
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
¾ cup water
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
shredded cheddar cheese
salsa
tomato
lettuce
sour cream
In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix, water and black beans. Cook over medium heat 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Preheat oven to 375. Place flatbread on baking sheet. Spread 2-3 Tbsp salsa on top of flatbread. Top with ⅓ cup taco meat and ⅓ cup shredded cheese. Bake at 375 for 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomato and sour cream.
In Utah we call these Navajo tacos! Sold at lots of fairs!
Your meals always look so good. I need to come back for ideas for feeding this clan different things 'round here.

We must be on the same page with tacos, but I like your idea better. Flatbread is a great idea.

This looks good, and a good change for taco's. Do you make or buy your flatbread? If you buy what is the brand?
