This might be my new favorite pizza. It combines all my favorite flavors – chicken, pesto, tomato sauce and cheese. I used a Boboli crust, and it took longer for the oven to preheat than to put this together. I never use Boboli crusts, and I’m not sure why. This was just as easy as a frozen pizza, but tasted a million times better. It was a great alternative to making pizza dough, and much easier on a weeknight!
Easy Chicken Pesto Pizza

- 6 oz cooked chicken, chopped
- 2-3 Tbsp prepared pesto
- ⅓ cup pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 450.
Toss cooked chicken with pesto. Set aside.
Spread pizza sauce on top of Boboli crust. Top with mozzarella cheese and then with chicken. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
I don't use the Boboli crusts much either but when I do, I'm always pleased with the ease and taste. Your pizza sounds great!
I have something similar to this at a local italian restaurant, but it has goat cheese on it. Try it, it's fabulous! Either way, this is one of my favorite pizza flavors!
I luv those premade crust.
I think mine would be called the kitchen sink pizza!
Great shots of a fantastic looking pizza. Thanks for the link to the Boboli crusts.
