Chocolate Cheesecake Pecan Pie

The Kentucky Derby is this weekend.  I am not a horse racing fan, but I love a good excuse to party!  This Chocolate Cheesecake Pecan Pie is my take on Derby Pie.  Derby Pie is basically a pecan pie with chocolate chips.  My version uses chocolate cream cheese in place of the chocolate chips.  The pie was absolutely delicious.  It combined two of my favorite desserts – cheescake and pecan pie.  This didn’t last long in our house.  We will be serving this pie along side some Kentucky Hot Brown Bites and a Mint Julep for the big race on Saturday!
