Italian BBQ Marinade

This is one of the best pork tenderloins we've ever made.  We didn't have any leftovers; It was absolutely delicious!  The marinade was a little sweet from the BBQ sauce and a little tangy from the Worcestershire sauce.  I used Wishbone Italian Dressing and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce.  Make sure you use a BBQ sauce that you like because it is the dominant flavor in this marinade.  We also tried this marinade on skirt steak, and we both preferred it on the pork.  I plan on trying it on chicken this weekend for Father's Day.

Italian BBQ Marinade
adapted from allrecipes.com
(Printable Recipe)

1/2 cup Italian dressing
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper

Whisk together marinade ingredients.  Marinate pork, chicken or beef for several hours or overnight in the refrigerator.  Remove meat from marinade and grill.

*This is enough for 2 pounds of meat*

I'll have to try this! I do something very similar, but I use ketchup instead of the barbecue sauce.

The tenderloin looks perfect and I must try the marinade - did you spoon something over the sliced meat?

Just about the only I'd add to that is more sauce, then maybe sprinkle some australian bacon bits and herbs on top. What can I say? I like to experiment.
