Pumpkin Spice Sticky Buns

These Pumpking Spice Sticky Buns are not to be missed! They only take about 5 minutes to prepare and they taste incredible. Prep the sticky buns before you go to bed and you will have a fabulous breakfast when you wake up.

These sticky buns remined us of awesome sticky buns from The Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island. We go to The Ritz for Thanksgiving and their sticky buns are the star of the breakfast buffet. I always make sure to start with the sticky buns so I don't run out of room! I feel the same way about these sticky buns - eat them first!

Pumpkin Spice Sticky Buns
(Printable Recipe)

1/4 cup chopped pecans
3 Tbsp cinnamon chips
9 frozen dinner rolls (Rhode's)
1/2 package of vanilla cook & serve pudding (not instant)
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
cooking spray

Spray 9-inch cake pan with cooking spray. Sprinkle pecans and cinnamon chips over the bottom of the pan. Arrange the rolls in the pan.  Combine pudding and pumpkin pie spice; sprinkle the pudding on top of the rolls and around them.

In a small saucepan, bring the butter and brown sugar to a boil. Pour mixture over rolls. Cover loosely with lightly sprayed plastic wrap and let rise overnight.

Preheat oven to 350. Carefully remove the plastic wrap and bake rolls for 20-25 minutes. Invert pan on a platter to serve.

  1. Stephanie, Do you allow these to rise in the oven? Or on the counter? Probably a silly question, but I am terrible with breads and these look delish!

  2. Angee - I just let them rise on the counter overnight. You can't mess these up - hope you enjoy them!

  3. I always make sticky buns for Christmas morning...I think these look MUCH easier than the ones I've done. Thanks!

  4. Where can I find cinnamon chips? How much ground cinnamon would substitute?

  5. Yet again I have pinned a Plain Chicken recipe on Pinterest. People must think this is the only site I go to, but it really isn't!! I think PC just has more recipes I like!!

  6. jsmbuford - I found the cinnamon chips at Wal-Mart.

  7. One more the pudding a large or small box?

  8. Pinned also and had an instant repin!!

  9. Miriam - it is a 3.4oz box of cook and serve pudding. Hope you enjoy the sticky buns!

  10. I'm at walnart and can't find cinnamon chips. What section?

  11. I found Cinnamon Chips at Publix. They were with the Christmas baking supplies and was told they were seasonal. Bought a couple of bags because we will be having them all year long! Ask someone if you can't find them but they are Hershey chips.

  12. Oh these are SO our Thanksgiving morning breakfast treat this year! Thanks for sharing so many great recipes. I pin your stuff all the time. LOL They may start to think that your site is the only site that HAS recipes with all us pinners!
