There is so much going on in February! We had the Super Bowl last weekend, and Mardi Gras and Valentine's Day are next week. So much fun! Here are a few of my favorite New Orleans/Cajun style dishes for your Mardi Gras celebration next week!
Those little king cake knots look fantastic, and I might have to try them this weekend, but that jambalaya recipe is a Creole recipe, not a Cajun one. Cajun jambalaya doesn't have tomatoes and is fluffy, not soupy.
I am from southern Louisiana and we don't call it "pasta jambalaya" we call it "pastalaya" And the King Cake knots look delish. I might have to give those a whirl.

Lib - thanks for the lesson. I am not up on the technical issues in regards to cajun/creole food. It is all just cajun to me.
They all look good!
