Bloody Mary Steak

When I told Chicken Legs about the marinade for this steak he was skeptical. He mentioned to the butcher what I was doing, he was also skeptical. Well, shame on both of them! This was AWESOME!

Chicken Legs said this was the best skirt steak marinade I’ve made. Oh yes! I agree, and I don’t even drink Bloody Mary’s. I made quesadillas with the leftover steak and it was just as delicious. I can’t stop thinking about how great this steak was. I am already planning on making it again this weekend.

  1. This I Cali Baby and BBQ is over even here we take out our fire place in the winter we love the smell of wood in the winter, I gues I can try BBQ ion top of my stove!! lol

  2. Not crazy at all! This sounds like a great idea. Grilling can be a challenge in NYC, but we are fortunate to live in a building with grills on the roof. Skirt steak is one of our favorite quick things to grill. I'll have to tell Quinn about this!

  3. Thanks for posting. Hubs always orders a bloody mary when we go out w/ Absolute vodka, to stave off headaches other brands give him. My question is a tad off topic, but it involves grilling. We have a grill with a natural gas connection. (Love it-no refilling propane canisters !) Hubs likes to cook with soaked hickory chips, no matter what we grill. If he followed your recipe today, do you think we would still taste the marinade? We never marinade, so that is why I am asking. Thank you !

    1. you would taste it, but it wouldn't be the star of the meat. This marinate is one of my favorites. I absolutely loved it!
