Epcot Food & Wine Festival

If you follow me on Instagram, and you totally should, you know that we recently got back from a week at Disney World. Our main reason for going to Disney this time was to hit up the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. We have never been to the Food and Wine Festival, and decided it was time to give it a try.

If you go to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, make sure to pick up your passport and get it stamped when you eat at each country. It doesn’t get you anything; it was just fun to try and fill up the passport. We did our best to eat our way around the world. We had some of the most amazing food! We almost ate something at every country. We tried our best, but we missed a few.

Here is the round up:

Chicken Legs ate here twice. He said it was really good!

Teriyaki Chicken Hand Roll

Spicy Hand Roll

Hops & Barley was in the American Pavilion

Lobster Roll with Lemon Herb Mayonnaise
This was one of Chicken Legs favorites!
Big chunks of lobster on a soft, warm sour dough roll with garlic butter. Great!

Crasin Bread Pudding with Grand Marnier Anglaise
The glaze put this over the top!

We tried all the food in Italy.

Sweet Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions on Ciabatta Bread
This was fantastic. We thought it was one of the best things we ate.

Cannoli
Delicious!
We only wished it was more than two bites!

Baked Cheese Ravioli with Creamy Beef Bolognese Sauce, Parmesan and Mozzarella
SO creamy and delicious!
I have the recipe for this. I will be making it soon.

Kalua Pork Slider
SO good!
I have this recipe too.
I’ve made the pork before, but I need to make sliders with this spicy mayo.

Tuna Poke
Chicken Legs LOVED this!

Roast Bratwurst in a Pretzel Roll
The Bratwurst was much skinner than we expected it to be.
We tore it in half and each ate it with half the pretzel bun.
It tasted more like sausage than what I thought a bratwurst tasted like.

Pasta Gratin with Ham and Cheese
Very good!
Tasted like a quiche with noodles.

Black Pepper Shrimp with Sichuan Noodles
Loved the sauce on the noodles!

Lamb Chop
Our driver told us about how great the lamb chop was.
Chicken Legs loves lamb, so he gave it a shot.
He said it was good, but he didn’t like all the mint on it.
He would get that on the side next time.

Grilled Beef Skewer with Chimichurri Sauce and Boniato Puree
Loved the beef and chimichurri – wasn’t too crazy about the boniato puree.
It didn’t really have much flavor.

Taco de Rib-Eye with Salsa de Chipotle
I ate 7 of these over the course of our trip.
Enough said.

Shrimp Taco with Purple Cabbage
Rice Pudding
Creamy and delicious!

Seared Mahi Mahi with Jasmine Rice and “Singa” Sauce
Very good. Loved the sauce.

Kielbasa and Potato Pierogi with Caramelized Onions
This was my very first pierogi!
It was really good – especially with the kielbasa!

Florida Shrimp Ceviche with Fire Roasted Vegetables and Micro Cilantro
Chicken Legs said this was fantastic. It had a TON of shrimp!

Florida Grass Fed Beef Slider with Monterey Jack and Sweet and Hot Pickles
I got this without the pickles because I HATE pickles.
The slider was super delicious!

Florida Orange Groves, Key Limen, Key Lime Wine
This was way too sweet and tart for me.

Belgian Waffle with Driscoll’s Berry Compote and Whipped Cream
Crazy good!

Chilled Coffee featuring Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
SO good and I don’t drink coffee.
It tasted like a White Russian.

Belgian Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache and Whipped Cream
O-M-G

Eiffel Sour Cosmo Slush
I could have drank a ton of these!

Boeuf Bourguignon
Amazing!

I was looking forward to Canada the most, and it didn’t disappoint.

“Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter Sauce
AH-MAZ-ING!
Chicken Legs ate the mushrooms and we split the steak.
We ate here twice. It was crazy good.

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup
I wanted to drink this soup. It was SO good.
I have the recipe for this soup, and I plan on making it very soon!

Orange Dole Whip
Our first Dole Whip (Crazy, I know)
It really hit the spot on a 90 degree + day!

Warm Chocolate Pudding with Bailey’s Custard
I wanted to lick the plate.
This was my favorite dessert.

Griddled Greek Cheese with Pistachios and Honey
Crazy good.
I loved the crust on the grilled cheese and the sweetness from the honey.
I want to make this at home.

Chicken Gyro with Tzatziki Sauce

Chocolate Orange Cupcake
We hated that this was so small.
It tasted great!
I have this recipe. I can’t wait to make these at home!

Frozen S’mores
Absolutely delicious!
It was more icy than ice cream. It was light and super cold. We wolfed this down in minutes.
This was Chicken Legs favorite dessert.
It was my second favorite, behind the Warm Chocolate Pudding with Bailey’s Custard in Ireland.

If you are wondering how we ate all of this and didn’t blow up, we ended up walking about 45 miles in the 5 days were were there!
That said, I didn’t really eat for about two days after we got back! It was worth it!!
In addition to the food, Epcot had nightly concerts for the Food and Wine Festival.
We saw Wilson Phillips.

The Pointer Sisters also played. They were AWESOME!!! AWESOME!
If you get a chance to see them, GO!
They put on a great show!
We had the best time at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. If you haven’t been, we highly recommend it. We ate something at Epcot every day we were at Disney. It was a tough job, but somebody had to do it! We can’t wait to go back again!

  1. I can't wait until you post the pork slider recipe. My husband & I just went to the festival this past weekend & went & had two sliders! So yummy!

  2. I love chocolate and orange together, so as soon as you have that recipe please post it! I would love to make those cupcakes!

  3. I haven't been to Epcot in 25 years and we used to live only 90 minutes away. We went to Disney World so many times (3 times a year through high school) that I couldn't care less about the place but now I think it's time for a visit. Trevor has never been.

  4. I'm pretty much beyond jealous you went to this. It's my yearly dream to go during the Food Festival, one year! Your entire post made me thrilled.

  5. Thank you so much for taking the time to take photos and write this post. We went a few years ago and dream about going again.

  6. I just got back from there today (so sad!) and loved everything I tried. I think you missed one of the best drinks available when you skipped the dragon berry colada at the refreshment port. I could have had 5 of these! Also, I'm incredibly jealous that you got the waffles, every time I went by the line was insane and baby wasn't interested in waiting. Maybe we'll make it another year without any kids. Glad you enjoyed it!

    1. I will have to add that to my list! We got to Belgium right when they opened at 11:00. The line was super long every time we went by it too!

  7. My husband and I have annual passes and have actually already done a quick swoop through this year's festival. After reading this post we're thinking of going back just to check out some of these delicious treats! Quick question: Where do you pick up the passport? Thanks!!

  8. Man oh man, a dream come true! Please share the recipes if allowed. Thank you for bringing this to us. I so enjoyed viewing, reading and dreaming.

  9. No fair – Makes me jealous!!! Everything you ate and everything else on the passport sounded amazing. (but you would have needed another 5 days to try everything) Hoping you will share those recipes with us. What fun.
