One Day at Disneyland

DISNEYLAND!!!!
I can’t believe I finally got to go to Disneyland!
I am a huge Disney fan, so this was the highlight of my trip to Los Angeles.

There was a lot more transportation on Main Street.
They had electric cars, carriages and the train.

Our first ride was the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
I wanted to ride this since we don’t have this at Disney World.

It was fun!
My Dad (at the very back) didn’t look too thrilled about it though!

I had three things on my list to eat at Disneyland.
First up was the corn dog from  The Little Red Wagon.
The corn dogs are hand dipped and DELICIOUS!
The are also HUGE.
I did a number on it. YUM!

Pirates of the Caribbean is one of my favorite rides at Disney World.
I couldn’t pass it up at Disneyland.
The ride is different in the beginning and the end from the one in Disney World.
The middle is basically the same.
Overall – we all loved it!

My all-time favorite ride at Disney World is Haunted Mansion.
I was excited to ride it in Disneyland.
Unfortunately, it was closed!
I was devastated!!!
I wanted to go all “Griswold” on them and make them open it!
I love how it was decorated in a Nightmare Before Christmas theme.
Guess this is my excuse to come back!

I thought this whale was fun!

The Tower of Terror is my second favorite ride in Disney World.
We gave it a whirl in Disneyland.
My parents wouldn’t ride this one with us.

The ride was different than in Disney World.
Disneyland has more elevators and two levels for riders to get in the elevators.
We were on the top level both times.
We didn’t have to go up, we immediately dropped.
It was SO much fun!

Lunch time!
We went with Mexican food from Cocina Cucamonga.

The food was the best I’ve ever had inside the park.
Usually these food stands have food that is just OK.
This food was delicious. It was just as good as any Tex-Mex restaurant.

Soft Tacos

Citrus Chicken

Burrito
We finally got to ride Soarin’.
We’ve been to Disney World a million times, and we’ve only ridden Soarin’ once.
This was the same as Disney World. The only exception was that the wait wasn’t forever!
On the way our of the ride soma kid barfed right next to us.
It splattered a tiny bit on Chicken Legs’ leg.
He was horrified. If you know him, you know he was truly traumatized!
The Boudin Bakery has a restaurant in the Pacific Warf area of California Adventure.
They offer bakery tours.
You can walk in the area that the bread is made and see everything.

LOVE the Mater sourdough bread!

I loved the lightning bugs in A Bug’s Land.

We took a little break and rode the train all around Disneyland.

Space Mountain is always fun at Disney World.

The ride is different than Disney World.
First, the seating is different. It is double the capacity of the Disney World ride.

The ride was less jerky and super fun!
We liked it much better than the Disney World version.

I can’t stop laughing at my parents reaction to the ride!

No trip to Disney is complete without seeing Mickey!

Paradise Pier might have been my favorite.

We rode the big roller coaster – California Screamin’
I did a lot of screamin’ – LOL!
My hair was crazy wind-blown when we came to a stop.

These two peanut butter treats were on my list of things to eat at Disneyland.
You can’t get them in Disney World, so I had to make sure we tried them.

The peanut butter sandwich was super rich.
It was a graham cracker topped with peanut butter and dipped in chocolate.

The peanut butter heaven was just that, heaven.
We both really liked this one.
It tasted like a peanut butter snickers.

Dinner was at Naples in Downtown Disney.
We’ve eaten at their restaurants in NYC and Epcot, so we knew this would be good.

The restaurant was super busy, so we sat at the bar.
Cheers!

We started with thePanzerotti.
It was fried pizza dough filled with fresh mozzarella, artisan ricotta and Parmesan, marinara sauce.
It was, in a word, DELICIOUS!

We split the 10-inch pizza with pepperoni and Italian sausage.
O-M-G! SO delicious!
I wish I could eat this every day!

I had a blast at Disneyland. I wish I had one more day to redo some of the rides and eat more!
There is so much more that I need to do and eat!

What an amazing trip to Los Angeles! We both said this was one of our best vacations ever.

I need another excuse to come back – soon!
