My recipe for Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies (here) is one of the most popular recipes on the blog. I love cooking with Bisquick and thought why not make Bisquick Brownies!?!? The brownies were super quick to whip up and tasted great! We served them with some ice cream, caramel sauce and whipped cream. SO good!
I baked the brownies in a 9-inch cake pan. You could also use an 8x8-inch pan or 9x9-inch pan. Make sure you check the brownies as they get close to the suggested baking time. You don't want to over bake the brownies. You want a toothpick to come out with just crumbs on it, no batter.
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9-inch cake pan with cooking spray.
Melt semisweet chips and butter together in a large bowl in a microwave at 50% power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave another minute and stir again. Repeat until mixture is smooth; let cool slightly.
Whisk eggs, sugars, and vanilla into the melted chocolate. Fold in Bisquick just until incorporated. Stir in nuts. Pour batter into pan.
Bake for 30 - 35 minutes.
