I combined a little bit of both recipes and came up with this Beefy Rice-A-Roni Casserole. OMG! Chicken Legs took one bite and said "This is good!". It really was and it was super easy to make. It was even good reheated for lunch the next day. You could make this ahead of time and freeze it or refrigerate it overnight.
Beefy Rice-A-Roni Casserole
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 box Beef Rice-A-Roni
- 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (6oz) container French fried onions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
Prepare Rice-A-Roni according to package directions.
While rice is cooking, cook ground beef in a skillet. Drain fat.
In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef, prepared rice, and soup. Spread into prepared pan. Top rice mixture with cheese and French fried onions.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
