Monthly Rewind - March 2015

March was a busy month!
I had a birthday, an anniversary and cooked at two home shows!
We had a ton of fun and are looking forward to April!

Mark your calendar!
We will be doing a cooking demonstration at AllSouth Appliances in Birmingham!
Bring your appetite! I will be feeding you a full dinner.
We will be making lots of great Mexican dishes to get you ready for Cinco de Mayo!

The most popular recipe for March was this Doritos Taco Salad
Have you tried it yet? You can't beat Doritos for dinner!
Doritos Taco Salad - taco meat, kidney beans, tomatoes, lettuce, Catalina dressing, cheese and Doritos. Quick Mexican recipe. Kid-friendly - who wouldn't want to eat Doritos for dinner?!

We can't get enough of these 10-Cup Cookies!
The recipe makes a ton.
I froze some of the dough so we can bake a few whenever we "need" a cookie.
10-Cup Cookies - peanut butter, oatmeal, toffee bits, nuts, chocolate chips - makes a ton of cookies. Great for a crowd/party.

My favorite Instagram photo from March was this selfie Jack took of us. It cracks me up!

Are you getting an Apple Watch?
The pre-orders are April 10th and they are released on April 24th.
Chicken Legs is definitely getting one. He wants the Black Apple Sport Watch.

I am still debating on whether to get one. I might check out his watch before deciding.

Don't forget to "Yum" your favorite recipes and save them in your recipe box!
Use this bar on the lefthand side of the blog.
This toolbar allows you to share recipes and save them to Yummly.com

Many of you were asking for a new way to save recipes to a recipe box like ZipList.
Yummly is a great alternative. Sign up for an account and Yum away.
You can also add a Yum button to your browser toolbar and Yum on all your favorite sites.

The toolbar shows up on each individual post. It doesn't show up on the home page.
Make sure to click "Continue reading for recipe-->" to get to the "Yum" button.
