Last week I had an amazing opportunity to get a behind the scenes tour at the Papa John's Pizza headquarters in Louisville, KY from none other than Papa John himself. It was a dream trip. Pizza is my all-time favorite food. Papa John's Pizza was the first delivery pizza place in Auburn. I've been eating it for a really long time. I was beyond thrilled to get the opportunity to go to the headquarters.
On the tour, we learned all about Papa John's Pizza's ingredients, quality testing and how to make a pizza the Papa John's way.
I had the best time. I came away with a whole new respect for Papa John's Pizza and the company itself. Papa John spent the entire day with us. I was beyond impressed. I've worked for a lot of different companies in my career, all much smaller than Papa John's, and the CEOs wouldn't even give you the time of day. For Papa John, CEO and founder, to take time out of his day to show food bloggers around the headquarters was unbelievable. He knew everyone's name in the company and was so passionate. I actually texted Chicken Legs while I was walking around that I wanted to move to Louisville and work for Papa John's! I would have given Papa my resume if I had a copy of it with me. I must have drank some Papa John's Kool-Aid while I was there! LOL!

If you love almond flavors, then you are going to absolutely love these Triple Almond Cookies! They are packed full of tons of almond flavor. Almond extract, chopped almonds and almond toffee bits. They are dangerously delicious!
The house smelled amazing while these cookies baked. We couldn't wait to give them a try. We both had a really hard time controlling ourselves around these cookies. I gave most of them away to my parents so we didn't sit around the house eating them all day (because we totally would have). This recipe makes a lot of cookies, so this would be a great dessert to take to a potluck.
We are in love with this "Cracked Out" Broccoli Salad!! We can't get enough of it. Cheddar, bacon, Ranch and Broccoli - I mean, how could we not love this quick side dish?!!?!! Even broccoli hates love this salad.
I used a package of pre-chopped broccoli florets in this recipe and tossed it with Ranch dressing, cheese and bacon pieces. You can make this the day before you are serving it and it will taste fine. We ate this a couple of days in a row with lunch and dinner. It is a great recipe for a summer potluck!
I'm sharing another simple grilled chicken marinade. This Cajun Caesar Grilled Chicken recipe only has 4 ingredients - that is including the chicken! You probably already have all the ingredients in the house to make this. Caesar dressing, cajun seasoning and lemon juice. I used a fresh lemon, but the lemon juice in the green bottle works great too!
I whisked the marinade together and let the chicken hang out in the fridge all day. We fired up the grill and had dinner in under 20 minutes! The chicken tasted fantastic! We didn't think it was spicy, but you can always reduce the amount of cajun seasoning if you are worried about any heat/spiciness.
This time of year we grill out at least three nights a week, so I am always looking for new chicken marinades. I found this recipe on Pinterest. It looked amazing. The original recipe cooks the chicken in a skillet. I changed it up a bit and made it a grilling recipe.
Y'all, this was incredibly delicious! The chicken is marinated in a sweet chili sauce, lime and honey mixture. It was sweet without being overly sweet. We had some leftover chicken that we ate for lunch the next day. It tasted great. These chicken tenders would also be great chopped up in tacos or a salad. You can't beat a quick 4-ingredient grilled chicken recipe!
