A few months ago, my cousin introduced us to the best pizza EVER. EVER!
I love pizza more than any other food on the planet.
I’ve eat a lot of pizza, and the pizza at Antico is the best I’ve ever eaten.
It was seriously life changing pizza!

Antico is located in Atlanta, near Georgia Tech.

Antico is not a fancy place.
You place your order at the register and go find a place to sit at the picnic tables. There are a few tables up front and many more in the back near the ovens. It does get a little toasty back there since there is no air conditioning.
It can get super busy, but don’t worry. The tables turn over really fast. The pizza literally only takes 2 or 3 minutes to get to your table. It cooks super fast in their brick ovens.
They don’t have any fountain drinks, just bottles of water and soda. You can BYOB though.

It was pretty spicy, but we all thought it was delicious!
The crust was crispy and perfectly chewy.

There are buffet style toppings for the pizza.
Garlic, parmesan, red peppers, wet spicy peppers.

Delicious!!! Not spicy. Loved the sweetness from the peppers.

The ovens were brought over from Italy.
Chicken Legs asked them how hot the oven get. They said they heat them to over 900 degrees.
I guess that is why the pizza only takes a couple of minutes to bake.

This was my favorite pizza. I loved the ricotta on top.
I could have eaten this whole pizza myself. No joke!
It was super delicious! It was perfect.
The crust on all the pizzas was amazing.
Perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside.
Antico is seriously the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.
They also have cannoli’s for dessert. We haven’t tried them yet.
It is the perfect excuse to go back!

  1. Thanks for highlighting this. I live in Marietta, GA which is a bedroom community of Atlanta. We drove by Antico yesterday to see where it was on our way home. It is on my list of places to try. I never would have known about it. Thank-you!

  2. Was wondering if this was better than Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Las Vegas? I'm going to Nashville tomorrow 8/23. Can you tell me a great place to eat. It can be pizza BBQ. I loved post office pizza place in bham Thanks so much Traci
