{Slow Cooker} Triple Chocolate Covered Peanut Clusters
adapted from Southern Living Big Book of Slow Cooking
5 pounds or approximately 60 clusters
(Printable Recipe)

  • 2 (16-oz) jars dry-roasted peanuts
  • 36 oz chocolate candy coating squares (like Almond Bark or Wilton candy coating melts)
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (4-oz) package German chocolate baking squares, broken into pieces
  • 1 (9.75oz) can salted whole cashews


Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours or until melted. Stir well to coat all nuts.

Drop nut mixture by spoonfuls onto wax or parchment paper. Let stand until firm. Store in an airtight container.

  3. Just looked Googled it and this is what I found.

    "The bark is called Almond Bark or candy coating and it comes in vanilla or chocolate flavors. It's usually located on the aisle with the chocolate chips and baking items. Ask your grocery store if they carry it."

  4. I made these yesterday and they were so easy and yummy. These will make a great gift for neighbors. I used a liner for my crockpot which made clean up so easy. Thank you for this stress free recipe.
