Chicken Pot Pie Bubble Up

Chicken Pot Pie Bubble Up Recipe - chicken, chicken soup, sour cream, cheese, frozen vegetables and biscuits. A whole meal in one pan!

Chicken Legs requested chicken pot pie the other night. I didn't want to make pie crusts, so I decided to give a Chicken Pot Pie Bubble Up a try. It turned out great! We both cleaned our plates. This dish is a whole meal in one dish. You have chicken, bread and veggies all in one.

I used half of a rotisserie chicken in this recipe and it came together in minutes. I always have frozen rotisserie chicken in the freezer. If you don't have rotisserie chicken, just cook up a couple of chicken breast and chop them up.

Heavenly Donut Co. {Birmingham, AL}

Heavenly Donut Co. {Birmingham, AL} - amazing gourmet doughnuts - Reese's Cup, Red Velvet, Maple Bacon - Beignets on Saturday morning.

Chicken Legs have an addiction, and it is really bad! We are totally addicted to Heavenly Donuts in Birmingham.

I had heard about Heavenly Donuts for a while, but I had never tried them. I finally gave them try before Amanda and I went on our River Cruise last Summer. We met at Heavenly Donuts before Chicken Legs dropped us off at the Atlanta Airport.

I couldn't believe I waited so long to give these donuts a try! They are amazing! They have tons of choices and every one of them tastes great!

Mom's Meatloaf

Mom's Meatloaf Recipe - comfort food at its best! This recipe makes 2 small loaves - serve one for dinner and serve leftovers as sandwiches for lunch the next day.

I've never been a fan of meatloaf, but my Mom sent me this recipe and swore it was good. All the ingredients sounded good, so I gave it a try. Mom was right, this was really good. This recipe makes two small loaves. We ate one for dinner and sliced the other one up for sandwiches the next day. We served the meatloaf with the Ranch Mashed Potatoes I shared last week. YUM! Comfort food at its best!

I topped our meatloaf with ketchup, but BBQ sauce would be good too! If you are into freezer meals, you could make the meatloaf and freeze it uncooked. Just thaw it out before baking.

Cinnabunnies

Cinnabunnies Recipe - refrigerated cinnamon rolls cut out in the shape of an Easter bunny. The perfect Easter morning treat!

Easter is right around the corner and these Cinnabunnies are the perfect breakfast treat! The best part is there is only one ingredient! Growing up, my Mom would make an Easter Bunny cake with 2 round cakes. She used one for the head and cut the other one up for the ears and a bowtie. I thought, why not do this same process but with cinnamon rolls!

Each Cinnabunny uses 2 cinnamon rolls. I decorated them with a jelly bean for the nose and a raisin for the eyes. I used a tube of regular Pillsbury cinnamon rolls - not the Grands cinnamon rolls. These Cinnabunnies are SO cute and SOOOO much fun to eat. We will definitely be having these again for Easter breakfast.

Bacon & Sriracha Corn Muffins

Bacon & Sriracha Corn Muffins Recipe - homemade corn muffins with bacon and a swirl of Sriracha. Great with soups, stews and grilled meats.

We've been making these Bacon and Sriracha Corn Muffins a lot lately. They are are great with grilled chicken, pork chops, soups, anything really. They are also super simple to make! Just a few simple ingredients and you have a great side with dinner.

Despite having a teaspoon of Sriracha in each muffin, they weren't spicy (in our opinion). If you are worried about the heat, feel free to reduce the Sriracha to 1/2 teaspoon. Either way, they will be delicious!

Taco Bubble Up

Taco Bubble Up Recipe - taco meat, beans, salsa tossed with refrigerated biscuits - fun twist to taco night! Quick Mexican recipe with everyday ingredients. Top with your favorite taco toppings!!

I was looking thorough all our Bubble Up recipes and couldn't believed that we had never done a Taco Bubble Up. I had to remedy that situation! It turned out great! Taco meat, tomato sauce, biscuits, cheese and onions. YUM! We topped our casserole with sour cream and salsa.

If you want to take a little short cut with this recipe, you can cook the meat ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze it until you are ready to make the bubble up. I don't suggest freezing this casserole unbaked. The refrigerated biscuits won't rise as well after they have been frozen.

One note - I use Pillsbury Grands Jr Biscuits. The 12oz can. I find that they don't crowd the pan and cook up in under 30 minutes. If you only have regular Grands biscuits, cut them into 6 pieces and toss one of the biscuits out.
