Sausage and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms {Football Friday}

Sausage and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms recipe - mushroom caps stuffed with sausage, cheese, ranch and red pepper - can make sausage mixture ahead of time and stuff mushrooms when ready to bake. Took these to a party and they were gone in a flash!

These Sausage and Cheese Stuffed Mushroom were the hit of our tailgate party last weekend. I wasn't sure they would actually make it to the party though. Chicken Legs sampled one, then two, then three - you get the idea. He could have made a meal out of these things! The mushrooms are stuffed with a mixture of cooked sausage, Ranch dressing, cheddar cheese and a dash of red pepper. They are ridiculously good. If you are taking these to a party, you can make the sausage mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it until you are ready to stuff and bake the mushrooms. The amount of mushrooms you get will depend on how big your mushroom caps are. I got 18 stuffed mushrooms. Some of my mushrooms caps were pretty big.

These Sausage and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms were super easy to make, and clean up was a breeze. I threw all the mushroom stems into the sink and let my new InSinkErator Evolution Excel Garbage Disposal work its magic. It ground up the mushroom stems without any problems. I loved being able to prep and clean up at the same time. I put the bowl and spoon in the dishwasher and the kitchen was cleaned up in a snap! I love easy party cleanup!

Pumpkin Pound Cake with Buttermilk Glaze

Pumpkin Pound Cake with Buttermilk Glaze - The perfect Fall dessert. I took this to a holiday party and it was a huge hit! Everyone asked for the recipe! This is definitely going on our Thanksgiving menu!

This time of year is all about pumpkin. Pumpkin Spiced Lattes, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Muffins - you get the idea. I needed a dessert to take to a tailgate party and decided to give this Pumpkin Pound Cake with Buttermilk Glaze a try. It turned out great! Everyone loved it. I am planning on adding this to our Thanksgiving menu this year.

Just a note about making the cake. You need to let the pumpkin puree drain on some paper towels before adding it to the batter. Also, make sure you are using canned pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling.

The cake is topped with a yummy buttermilk glaze. I was skeptical about it, but it turned out great. I think it would also be great on top of some cinnamon rolls. We served the cake with some whipped cream and pecans. Next time I plan on making some cinnamon ice cream to serve with it.

Biscuit and Sausage Gravy Bubble Up

Biscuit and Sausage Gravy Bubble Up recipe inspired by The Ritz Carlton's gravy recipe - quick homemade sausage gravy tossed with refrigerated biscuits and cheddar cheese - simply DELICIOUS! Great breakfast casserole! We like to eat it of dinner too. Serve with some scrambled eggs and fruit for a delicious 30 minute breakfast!

The recipe was inspired by The Ritz Carlton in Buckhead. We love to stay at The Ritz in Buckhead for a quick weekend getaway to Atlanta. The hotel is located next to two malls and close to some of our favorite restaurants. The last time we were there, our room included breakfast. I love their breakfast buffet; especially their sausage gravy. It tastes different than your usual sausage gravy. It has a different flavor. I finally figured out that it has Worcestershire sauce in it. I happen to love Worcestershire sauce, so I think it is THE BEST!

I've had a Biscuit and Sausage Gravy Bubble Up on my list for a long time. I finally decided to make it using The Ritz Carlton gravy recipe. OMG! I am in love! This is DELICIOUS! I could have eaten the whole thing! I had to use all of my self restraint to not over do it with this casserole. I am already planning on making it again. We served this with some scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. Perfect!

Lemony Pasta with Garlic and Capers

Lemony Pasta with Garlic and Capers recipe - quick pasta dish tossed with olive oil, lemon, garlic, capers and parmesan - seriously delicious! Quick!! Ready in 15 minutes! Can be a side dish or a meatless main dish. We couldn't' stop eating this yummy pasta!

New favorite alert! We are in love with this quick Lemony Pasta with Garlic and Capers! It is super delicious! The best part is it only takes a few minutes to make. Basically just the time it takes to boil the pasta!

Making this pasta goes really fast. I suggest having all the ingredients measured out before cooking the pasta. It literally only takes 2 minutes once the pasta is cooked. One of the ingredients is some of the pasta water. Make sure to scoop some out of the pot before draining the pasta. We absolutely loved this pasta. We had it as a side dish, but it could totally be a main dish. Think chicken picatta without the chicken!

2-Ingredient Creamy Salsa {Jose Ole Tailgate}

2-Ingredient Creamy Salsa Dip - literally takes 1 minute to make! I am totally addicted to this dip!!Pair with some José Olé frozen snacks for an easy tailgating feast! Also great on a salad or on top of a baked potato.

We do a lot of tailgating this time of year. A whole lot! I am always trying to come up with super easy recipes. I had some of our favorite quick snacks, José Olé  Taquitos, in the freezer and decided to serve them with an easy 2-Ingredient Creamy Salsa. OMG! The Creamy Salsa was SOOO good and literally took one minute to make. The salsa was great with our José Olé snacks, but it would also be good on regular tacos, a salad or on top of a baked potato. It is a new favorite!

José Olé snacks are one of our favorites. I always have a box in the freezer. They so convenient to make for football party. Just pop them in the oven, and they are hot and crispy in under 15 minutes! They are a great way to easily feed a crowd! Our favorites are the Chipotle Chicken Taquitos and Beef & Cheese Mini Tacos. The Chipotle Chicken Taquitos were a little spicy. The Creamy Salsa helped cool them down a bit. If you don't like spicy food, José Olé has lots of other varieties. There is definitely something to please everyone in your group!

Hot Ham and Cheese Crescents {Football Friday}

Hot Ham and Cheese Crescents recipe - ham, cheddar, swiss, cream cheese, dijon mustard, Worcestershire, brown sugar mixed together and baked in crescent rolls and topped with poppy seeds. I am totally addicted to these! I could not stop eating them! I am already planning on making them again this week!

Last weekend was a big food week for us. We had tailgate food on Thursday night while we watched college football. Since our team didn't play on Saturday, we took a weekend trip to Nashville. We ate at some of our favorite places and did more tailgating on Sunday. After it was all said and done, we really overdid it on food. We aren't used to eating that much food, so our tummies were a little upset. Thankfully, I had some Pepto-Bismol chewable tablets in my pocket to give us some much needed relief. I always make sure to bring along some Pepto-Bismol for our tailgates just in case we overindulge. I love the chewable tablets because they fit perfectly in my pocket!

Some of our overindulgence came from these Hot Ham and Cheese Crescents. I am totally addicted to them! They are a combination of my Party Ham Sandwiches and Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescents. They are SOOOOO good! I could not stop eating these things! These Hot Ham and Cheese Crescents are great for a party or even lunch and dinner. We served them for a tailgating party and they were gone in a flash! I am already planning on making them again this weekend. SO good!

The filling for these Hot Ham and Cheese Crescents can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until you are ready to bake the crescents. I like to cut the crescent rolls into two triangles to make bite-sized crescents. If you are making the crescents for lunch or dinner, you may want to keep the crescents whole. I think the crescents taste best hot or at room temperature.

{Slow Cooker} Spaghetti and Meatball Soup

{Slow Cooker} Spaghetti and Meatball Soup recipe - frozen meatballs, spaghetti sauce, beef broth and angel hair pasta - This slow cooker soup is such a fun twist to spaghetti night! It is SO good and super quick to throw together. Serve with some warm garlic bread for a quick and easy weeknight meal!

This Spaghetti and Meatball Soup is a great change to spaghetti night. It has all the flavors of spaghetti and meatballs but in form of soup! We both really, really liked this. I ate it for lunch the next day and it was even better! Serve this with some warm garlic bread for an easy weeknight meal!

I used store bought frozen meatballs in this soup. Feel free to make your own meatballs. I am sure the soup would taste even better with homemade meatballs. I didn't have the time to make my own, so I went with the continence of store bought. We topped the soup with a little parsley and a generous scoop of grated parmesan. SO delicious!
