Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday! Today I am sharing one of my favorite ways to use up leftover holiday ham. We always get a ham at Christmas. It is my absolute favorite! When we have eaten all the sandwiches we can take, I chop up the ham and freeze it. I pull it out to make casseroles, quiches and pizza! It is SO good on pizza!
This Spicy Hawaiian Pizza is incredible. We both absolutely loved it! It only takes a few minutes to make and tastes better than any take-out pizza. The holiday ham was perfect on the pizza. We loved the sweetness from the pineapple and the kick from the jalapeños! YUM!
One of my favorite holiday hacks is to portion out our leftover ham and freeze it for later.
I use my kitchen scale to weigh out 8-oz portions.
I line my scale with Glad® Press‘n Seal®, top it with 8-oz of ham and wrap it up.
I toss the ham in the freezer to use later for casseroles. YUM!
This weekend I used some of the ham to make this Spicy Hawaiian Pizza.
I used my New York Style Pizza Dough recipe, but you can use a ball of store-bought pizza dough if you prefer. I usually find the pizza dough in the bakery section at the grocery store.
We wrapped the leftover pizza in some Glad® Press‘n Seal® and refrigerated it for later.
I would normally say " What is this leftover pizza you speak of?" BUT since I totally overate at the holidays, I had to cut back and save some for later.

Spicy Hawaiian Pizza
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped ham
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh pineapple
- 1 medium jalapeno, sliced
Place pizza stone or pizza steel in oven. Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
Press pizza dough into a 12 to 14-inch circle on top of parchment paper. Prick dough with fork. Top with pizza sauce. Sprinkle cheese on top of sauce. Top cheese with ham, pineapple and jalapeño.
Using a flat baking sheet, transfer pizza on parchment paper to preheated pizza stone/steel. (The pizza bakes on the parchment on top of the stone/steel)
Bake for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, until crust is brown and cheese is melted. Remove pizza from oven and slice.
