I am a big fan of those canned French fried onions that you buy at the grocery store. I have zero self-control when there is an open can in the kitchen. When I came across this recipe for French Onion Biscuits, I knew I had to make them ASAP! French fried onions and cheese in a biscuit. Yes, please!

French Onion Biscuits

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (3-oz) can French fried onions

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray muffin pans with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. Combine Bisquick, cheese, egg and milk. Stir until thoroughly combined. Stir in fried onions.
  3. Scoop batter into prepared pans.
  4. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.

  1. Any chance you could freeze these prior to baking? We don't eat much bread but they sound amazing. I know they would be stale before we could eat 16 of them.

    1. I haven't tried freezing them before baking. I've frozen them after baking and they are fine. You could definitely give it a try freezing before baking. It should work fine.
