First up this season are these easy Slow Cooker Beer Brats. I love these because you can just dump everything in the slow cooker and the cooking is done. Just have your guests grab a brat out of the slow cooker when they are ready to eat! Perfect for a crowd! You can even take these on the road. Just buy a car power adaptor and you can fire up the slow cooker in the parking lot.

How to Make Beer Brats in the Crockpot

These sausages are effortless to make with only a few simple ingredients. Place sausages in the bottom of a 6-qt slow cooker. Add chopped bell peppers and onion slices. Pour a can of beer over the sausage and vegetables. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper to the beer mixture. Cover the crock pot and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Remove the sausages with tongs and serve in hot dog buns.

  • 2 (19-oz) packages uncooked bratwurst (Johnsonville)
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 (12-oz) cans/bottles beer

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
