Easy Crescent Roll Appetizer Recipe

Happy Football Friday!! We are about a month into college football. I hope your team is doing great!! If not, just focus on the tailgating! That is what I do! LOL! Today I’m sharing these Crack Chicken Crescent Bites. Chicken, cheddar, bacon and ranch stuffed inside crescent roll dough and baked. O-M-G!! SO addictive! I took these to a football party and they were gone in a flash. I should have doubled the recipe. Next time I will! Lesson learned.

What does Crack mean? Crack or Cracked Out means the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the recipe. It started with our famous Crack Dip recipe. We’ve been cracking out recipes since 2007.

How to Make Crack Chicken Crescent Bites

These crescent bites are super easy to make. Mix together chopped chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, and Ranch dressing. Unroll some crescent roll dough and cut it into squares. Spoon chicken mixture onto the dough squares. Bring 4 corners of each dough square up over the filling and bake.

  • I used rotisserie chicken for the cooked chicken in this recipe.
  • Can substitute turkey bacon for regular pork bacon.
  • I used precooked bacon. You will need about ¾ pound of raw bacon to equal ¾ of a cup cooked bacon.
  • You can mix up the chicken mixture ahead of time and assemble the crescents when you are ready to bake them.
  • These taste great right out of the oven or at room temperature.
  • You can even serve them with some extra ranch for dipping. YUM!

  1. These were EXCELLENT!!!!! (SHHHH, I made these using 2 cans of canned chicken. Don’t judge me!) 😉 We had a bit leftover so my husband toasted one of my homemade buns the next day and ate the rest of the Crack Chicken… he said it was even good that way. (This site is one of my go-to sites for yummy meal ideas!)

  2. Im making these now except i split the shredded cheese with cream cheese and also added chopped steamed broccoli!
