We made this Instant Pot Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta twice in the past week. We LOVE it!! It is my new favorite way to use up leftover holiday ham! The best part is this pasta takes less than 20 minutes from start to finish! I love that everything cooks in the Instant Pot – even the pasta!

This Instant Pot Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta can be made with raw or cooked chicken. I’ve made it both ways, and it is equally delicious. For the raw chicken, I just cut up chicken tenders into bite sized pieces and sauté it in the Instant Pot. For the cooked chicken, I use rotisserie chicken and toss it in with everything else.

We really enjoyed this Instant Pot Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta. It is so creamy and delicious! It has tons of great flavor from all the different cheeses. This has quickly become a favorite in our house!

  1. I’m totally out of swiss cheese. I’m wondering if I can make it with a different cheese. I realize then it won’t be Cordon Bleu, but might still taste good.

  2. Has anyone tried this with gluten free pasta? Or no pasta? I'm not sure I trust cooking gluten free pasta in my IP

    1. I don't know how GF pasta would hold up in the Instant Pot. I did a quick google search and saw some people had success with gluten-free Barilla elbow macaroni. Maybe try that. I haven't used GF pasta, so I can't say with certainty how it will turn out.

  3. Yes I love the insta pot and I'm so excited you are posting recipes!!! PLEASE keep posting them ???? trying this one tonight.

  4. This is the 2nd dish I tried in my IP (did a pot roast 1st). I made it following your recipe exactly and it was quite tasty!! Even better when I reheated the left overs!! This recipe is a keeper although the only thing I will try differently is to used chicken from a rotisserie chicken & left over ham from cooking a whole ham. The reason is the shredded meats will be softer (more tender). But that's just me…..

  5. You don't mention stirring anything after adding to the sautéed chicken. I'm so new to IP, is this important?

    1. You can definitely stir it all up. Just make sure to push the pasta down into the liquid before locking the lid

  6. I don't have an instant pot but I think you could do in crockpot or on stove even. Just change up how you fix a few ingredients. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Yes, please do keep posting Instant Pot recipes! I just bought one, and I'm always on the look-out for new recipes!

    1. YAY!! I'm just getting into using my Instant Pot too. Trying to make one at least new recipe per month for the website. I might have one more this week – stay tuned!!

    1. I'm sure it can. I haven't made it in the slow cooker yet, but it is on my list of recipes to test soon.

  8. Less than 99% of your readers have never heard of an "instant pot", let alone have one. Why don't you explain how the dish can be prepared without this magic "instant pot".

    1. I would disagree with you "Unknown". I get emails every single day requesting Instant Pot recipes. There are thousands of other free recipes on this website that you can choose from to make – including several Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta recipes.

    2. Whoa, Unknown, where have you been? I'd be willing to guess 99% of Steph's readers HAVE heard of the Instant Pot. (Steph, I have this in mine as I type, smells divine!)
