It’s sandwich time again. This week’s wrap was a real adventure for me. I was a little unsure about this one because of the cream cheese and jalapenos, but I ended up loving it! The cream cheese gave the wrap a wonderful creaminess that the other wraps we’ve made didn’t have. I mixed the cream cheese with some salsa to mellow the flavor out, and I think that was my favorite part. I will have to figure out how to incorporated it into more wraps. It was just wonderful. The wrap overall was great. I had enough leftover chicken to eat this for lunch the next two days. Two of the best lunches I had all week!
- cooked, chopped chicken
- 2 oz whipped cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp salsa
- pickled jalapenos
- tortilla
- salsa, for dipping
I turned these into quesadillas and just blogged about them. They were excellent. We will have them this week when the kids come. Thanks.
This is a wrap we would love–can't wait to try it.
You are rocking the wraps!
I bet we'll love this. We eat jalapenos on almost everything. We tried your pesto chicken wrap over the weekend and loved it!
I'm always looking for new sandwich ideas for my son's lunch as well as mine! We've actually started using our tiny George Foreman at my shop and these would also work well on that! Thanks for the idea!

Jalapeno's and cream cheese sounds really good to me!
This is similar to how I make creamy chicken enchiladas (from Food for Thought). Lay the wraps as you made them in a 9×13, pour whipping cream all over top, sprinkle some cheddar and bake.
