Crack Chicken Quesadillas

These Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas are a family favorite. They are easy to make and use our favorite flavor combination – cheddar, bacon, and ranch. DELICIOUS! You can even customize the quesadilla for each family member without any extra time and energy. We absolutely love this easy meal. This is a great recipe if you need a super quick lunch, dinner, or party appetizer. This is a regular weekend lunch at our house.

What does CRACK mean?

If a recipe has “crack” in the title it means that the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the ingredients. It all started with my Crack Dip way back in 2007. I made the dip for a Titans football game. Everyone went crazy over it. We couldn’t stop eating it and said it was like crack. The name stuck.

According to the dictionary, the definition of crack is “of superior excellence or ability”. We think the flavor combination of cheddar, bacon, and ranch fits this definition! This recipe is most definitely of superior excellence!

How to Make Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla

This dish is effortless to make with only a few simple ingredients. Lay a tortilla on a flat surface. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese in an even layer over the tortilla. Top one half of the tortilla with cooked chicken and crispy bacon. Drizzle ranch dressing over the chicken mixture.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Spray pan with cooking spray. Gently transfer the tortilla to the hot skillet. Cook until the cheese starts to melt. Fold the cheese side over on top of the chicken mixture. Cook for 2 minutes more, using a spatula to flip until each side is golden-brown and crispy. Remove from the skillet and cut into wedges.
