How to Make Ham and Cheese Sliders

These sandwiches are super simple to make with only a few simple ingredients. Cut a package of Hawaiian rolls in half with a serrated knife. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Add a layer of thinly sliced ham on top of the bottom half of the rolls. Top with provolone cheese slices. Place the top half of the rolls on the cheese.

In a saucepan, melt butter, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and poppy seeds over medium-high heat. Bring just to a boil and remove from the heat. Brush the sauce over the top of the rolls and bake in a preheated oven.

What to Serve with Ham and Cheese Sliders

When it comes to serving up these yummy ham and cheese sliders, you’ll want to complement their savory goodness with some tasty sides. Since these sliders are already packed with tons of great flavor, you’ll want sides that add a touch of variety and freshness to your meal. Consider serving a crisp, garden-fresh salad with a zesty vinaigrette dressing to balance out the richness of the sliders. Another great option is a side of coleslaw, offering a creamy and slightly tangy contrast to the warm and cheesy sliders. And, of course, you can’t go wrong with classic potato chips or seasoned fries for that satisfying crunch. 2. I love this! I'm gonna go to a butcher fresh pork supplies in Melbourne and find me the perfect ham to use in this treat. Thanks!

  3. I made these and they were a huge hit, taste-wise. However, I could not slice the Brown and Serve rolls open to save my life! They were a mess! Any tips for this? I used a really sharp knife, but all I did was smush them and I wound up ripping them open.

  4. I made these amazing little guys for Super Bowl Sunday and they were a HUGE hit (and so easy to make). Thank you so much for sharing this FANTASTIC recipe! It will definitely be made again in my home!!! Over and over!!!

  5. Made these tonight for a football watching dinner. Scaled down for nine sandwiches in a 9×9 pan. I used King's Hawaiian rolls, so I didn't need to bake them quite so long, and I think I might cut back on the butter a bit next time. But, there will definitely be a next time. Served potato salad on the side. Thanks for sharing this one – we loved it!
