Easy Sautéed Mushroom Recipe

Need a quick, easy and delicious side dish recipe? Look no further! These Sautéed Ranch Mushrooms are a family favorite. Fresh white mushrooms sauteed in a delicious ranch butter sauce. AMAZING! Such a simple recipe that packs a ton of great flavor. You can serve these mushrooms as a side dish or toss in pasta for a quick vegetarian/meatless main dish!

How to Make Sautéed Ranch Mushrooms

This side dish is super easy to make with only four simple ingredients. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add sliced mushrooms, ranch mix, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, until the mushrooms are soft.

  • You can use any variety of mushrooms you prefer. I use white button mushrooms in the photos. I’ve also made this recipe with oyster, shiitake, and baby portabella mushrooms. Just throw them all in the pan!
  • Use a damp paper towel to gently clean the mushrooms before slicing.
  • If you are sensitive to ranch seasoning mix,adjust the amount to your personal preference.

  1. This recipe just proves that some of the best-tasting things are the simplest! Literally only 3 ingredients. I’m another mushroom-lover and this is going to be a regular in my meal rotation. Thanks for telling us, Plain Chicken, that the recipe originally called for a whole stick of butter – I’m going to cook it next time with a whole stick because besides mushrooms, I also love butter.
