Cinnamon Sugared Almonds – SO much better than the mall!! Almonds tossed in egg white, water, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and salt and baked. These are SO easy to make and they taste AMAZING!!! Whip up a batch ASAP! #almonds #copycatrecipe
You know those cinnamon almonds that they sell at the mall and sporting events? They smell SO good. I am always tempted to get some, but I balk at the price. Since I never splurge on them when I am out, I decided to try my hand at making some at home.
These are SOOOO good, and they made the house smell AH-MAZ-ING! I could not stop eating these things! I’m trying not to feel too guilty about it. Almonds are healthy, so it’s OK. Right? I just don’t think about all the cinnamon and sugar on them. 🙂 These almonds would make a great Valentine’s Day treat for co-workers, neighbors, or teachers.
Cinnamon Sugared Almonds
ingredients:
-
1 egg white
-
4 tsps water
-
1 Tbsp vanilla
-
1 cup sugar
-
2 tsp cinnamon
-
¼ tsp salt
- 1 pound raw almonds
instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 250ºF. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.
-
Beat the egg white in a bowl until frothy; whisk the water and vanilla into the egg. Stir the sugar, cinnamon, and salt into the egg mixture. Add the almonds; stir to coat completely.
- Spread the almonds onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake almonds, stirring every 15 minutes, until the coating forms a glaze, about 40-60 minutes. Allow to cool on the baking sheet 10 minutes before serving.
I definitely want to try these. I've never made them before, probably because I don't want them around as I will eat the whole thing.
I totally understand!!

I love these kinds of sweet snacks. They are so dangerous to keep around!
