Easy Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole

One of my all-time favorite recipes is my recipe for Chicken Roll Ups. I’ve been wondering what they would taste like baked in Alfredo sauce instead of the chicken soup mixture. I decided to give it a try, and the result was a super delicious dinner! We loved the flavors!

How to Make Chicken Alfredo Rollups

These Alfredo Chicken Rollups are super easy to make. Simply combine cream cheese, chicken, and mozzarella cheese. Spread the chicken on the wide end of crescent rolls and roll them up. Place the crescent rolls in a baking dish, top with Alfredo sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Pop them in the oven and dinner is done!

  • I use rotisserie chicken for the cooked chicken in this dish.
  • My favorite store-bough Alfredo sauce is Rao’s. It is expensive but worth it. Tastes like homemade.
  • If you want crispier crescent rolls, you can bake them for 10 or 15 minutes before adding the Alfredo sauce.

What to Serve with Chicken Crescents

I used some rotisserie chicken and this came together in minutes. Dinner was on the table in 30 minutes. We served the Chicken Alfredo Roll Ups with some Slow Cooker Risotto and Asparagus Amandine – SO good! Here are few more of our favorite recipes that go great with this chicken casserole:

  1. this was a great recipe idea! I mean I would’ve never thought to make a chicken alfredo with crescent rolls… I followed the chicken filling to a T and used 3 – 5 oz. cans of chicken already cooked which i shredded that all before mixing it with the cream cheese mixture… I also added in about 1/4 cup grated parm. cheese and it’s so delicious as is … though I made this recipe way different … I used 2 tubes of big buttery flaky crescent rolls (16 crescent rolls total) and after unrolling them I spread on classico 4 cheese alfredo sauce, sprinkled some grated parm. cheese and then topped with the chicken, cream cheese mixture… baked at 350 for 10 min. and it was perfectly baked / cooked and my family loved it… this is def. a keeper and will for sure make this again in the future.. my little one said wanted to pack a lunch for school (2nd grade) and take the leftovers :^) thank you so much for sharing your recipe it was wonderful have a blessed day

  2. Just made these for lunch. They were very good. Next time I make this I may try adding some chopped broccoli or peas to help cut the richness of them. Definitely a keeper!

  3. I have a can of crescents I need to use before they go bad and I can't decide which of your roll-up recipes I want to make! They all sound so good.

  4. This is on the menu for tonight, I assume the 1/2 cup of reserved mozzarella is sprinkled over the rollups before placing them in the oven.
