One of my all-time favorite breakfast meals is Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescents I got the recipe at one of my first jobs out of college and I’ve been making them ever since. Ridiculously easy and crazy good! CRAZY good! I was working on new recipes and thought – what if I took the sausage and cream cheese and added it to my favorite breakfast casserole. That sounded really good, so off to the kitchen, I went!

Well, I have a new favorite breakfast casserole. This Sausage & Cream Cheese Breakfast Casserole is now officially my favorite breakfast casserole. Crescent rolls topped with a mixture of sausage, cream cheese, cheddar, eggs and milk. Can’t go wrong with those ingredients. I loved every single bite! Every-single-bite. I ate this for lunch and leftover for dinner. It was that good. This is a great casserole for a work potluck, baby shower brunch, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or any other time you need food! Give it a try. I promise this recipe is a winner!

  1. I made this for a breakfast at our local yacht club and it was wonderful! Because we had an early start, I prepped everything the night before and put it together and baked it in the morning. I didn’t change anything, and followed the recipe as it is. So many people commented on how delicious it was, and asked me for the recipe. My only regret is that I didn’t make two! This is definitely one to keep !

  2. Absolutely delicious! Teenage son said, “This one needs to be in the recipe binder!”. Lol

  3. It’s 4:30 in the morning, just made this to take to work. Sooooo DELICIOUS!!!! I added onion powder, garlic powder and salt. Turned out GREAT!!!! Can’t wait to make this for family at holiday gatherings!!!!

  4. This is a keeper! I’ve made it several times now and it’s great. I make it on a Sunday and it’s eaten for quick breakfast through the week. It is best day one but still delish heated up. I cook mine closer to 40 minutes.

To the night before peeps- this is a very easy one to whip up. Buy the crescent “sheet” to save time- you could brown sausage night before and your assembly time would
Be so short in the morning to get in oven.

  5. It's amazing with onion tater tots on the bottom instead of the crescents. Since there's already eggs, i just added a couple extra (4). Eggs always hold/bring everything together. I put chives on top before serving…This was so yummy!

  6. Can this be made without the crescent rolls? I wasn't sure how it would hold up without having the crust. I have a friend that has to eat gluten free, and I can't find a breakfast casserole that she can eat. I feel bad bringing things to events that she can't eat.
