I’m knee deep into menu planning for our 4th of July party. We are going to have a few friends over for the holiday. I want to be able to enjoy the party and not spend the whole time cooking. This 3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Pulled Pork is definitely going on the menu! All of my favorite flavors in one dish! Not only is it super easy, it is CRAZY good!! BONUS — I get to stay in the air conditioned house not sweat outside in the blazing heat all day!

3-Ingredient Pulled Pork

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 pound boneless pork shoulder/pork butt
  • 2 (1-oz) packages dry ranch salad dressing mix
  • 2 (0.7-oz) packages dry Italian dressing mix
  • slider or hamburger buns

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place pork in a 6-qt slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle with dry salad dressing mixes.
  3. DO NOT add any water to the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
  5. With 2 forks, pull pork apart and remove any fatty pieces.
  6. Serve pork on buns with your favorite BBQ sauce.

  1. This was good and so easy! I don’t usually use packaged dry mix but I found the Simply Organic brand at my local grocer. Initially thought it would be too much but it was perfect! The pork is actually a little spicy and mixing it with the juices when cooked and shredded was perfecto. Earlier in the week I had made bbq sauce for a different recipe so we topped the sandwiches with homemade slaw and my homemade bbq.
    This will be my short -on-time pulled pork recipe since the one is normally use can be time consuming 🙂
