Ponte Vedra, Florida – where to eat and where to stay
Ponte Vedra, Florida – golfer paradise! Where to stay, what to do and where to eat on your next trip to Ponte Vedra, Florida!
Last month we took a quick trip down to Ponte Vedra, Florida. This was our second time vacationing in Ponte Vedra, and we LOVE it down there! I told Chicken Legs that I could move down there. The only problem is that it is SO hot in Florida. SO hot!
Chicken Legs played golf while we were down there. I drove the cart and gave appropriate golf claps after good shots. We ate at several great places. Graeme McDowell has a new restaurant in town. We ate there on the first night and it was great! We also ate at an Irish pub across from the hotel. Really good food!!
Have you been to Ponte Vedra? We are already looking at the calendar to see when we can go back. Let me know if you have any suggestions for places to eat and drink! We love checking out new places in our favorite places!!
I will be traveling the whole month of September.
I’m going to London, Paris, Memphis (Bruno Mars Concert), Disney World, Nashville and Denver!
Make sure to follow me on Instagram to see what I’m doing and what I’m eating!
TPC Sawgrass
The clubhouse at TPC Sawgrass is beautiful! I love that you can eat in the clubhouse even if you aren’t a member. We had lunch in the restaurant after one of our rounds of golf and stopped by for happy hour one night! Half-priced drinks!
Chicken Legs played the Stadium Course twice.
The Valley Course was closed when we were there this time.
Hopefully it will be open on our next trip so he can finally play it.
The famous 17th green at TPC Sawgrass. Chicken Legs parred it both days.
Nona Blue
We had dinner at Nona Blue on our first night. Nona Blue is owned by pro golfer, Graeme McDowell.
We started with the chips and salsa. You could tell that the salsa was fresh – it was delicious!
For dinner, Chicken Legs got a steak. It was cooked perfectly!
I got the prosciutto flatbread and….
an order of the meatballs. They were both delicious!
We couldn’t pass up dessert. We went with the Banoffee Pie.
Pecan graham cracker crust, Bananas, Toffee, Whipped cream and Shaved chocolate
YUM!
We loved the food and atmosphere at Nona Blue. We will definitely be back on our next trip!
Palm Valley Bar and Grill at Palm Valley Outdoors, under the bridge, on the Inter-Coastal. A lovely little place with a great menu, a Rooster, a patio and a great back story.
Last time we were down there , we went to Palm Valley Fish Camp and is was DELISH! Make reservations, though – It's a small restaurant!
