Made this for Sunday dinner for my 89 year old mother. She told me 4 times how good it was, thanks for the recipe 😉
I have this in my oven right now! I can’t wait, i can tell just by the smell that i’m going to love it.
I was hoping to find the info for carbs and sugars though.
I am following a plan called, The Belly Fat Cure. And always looking for recipes that work with my plan.
Here is a good website to estimate carbs and sugars: https://www.verywellfit.com/recipe-nutrition-analyzer-4157076 Keep in mind nutritional values will differ depending on what brands you use.
If you sub in heavy cream or 1/2 'n 1/2 for the milk, this gets this dish about as low carb as possible. We have made this at least 4 times in recent months and just added Vidalia onions for the onion flakes.
I made this for dinner tonight and my family just loved it. My Husband and daughter are both on diets and thought it tasted way too good to be low carb.
Not a ketchup fan… does it really adversely affect the outcome to omit it?
should be fine
Made this for supper tonight and it was really good. My love even had seconds (which confirmed he liked it).
I would love to know the calorie count. I wish I had calculated it while I was cooking.
