How to Make Keto Chicken Pizza Crust

This low carb chicken pizza crust is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a bowl, combine raw ground chicken, grated parmesan, Italian seasoning, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Line a pizza pan or baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper. Gently shape the chicken mixture into a round pizza shape and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven. Top the chicken with pizza or tomato sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings. Bake an additional 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted.

Helpful Tips & Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you can’t find ground chicken at the grocery store you can make your own at home. Simply place some raw chicken breast in a food processor and chop until the chicken is ground.
  • You can shape the chicken mixture into a circle or rectangle by hand or with a rolling pin.
  • The chicken will release some liquid as it cooks. I suggest using a rimmed pizza pan or rimmed baking sheet.
  • For the sauce, I used my No-Cook Pizza Sauce and left out the sugar for a low carb pizza sauce. It tasted great without the added sugar. The tomatoes provided enough sweetness.
    • My favorite store-bought pizza sauce is Rao’s.
  • Don’t like red sauce? Top the pizza with some Alfredo sauce or pesto sauce. YUM!
    • Rao’s Alfredo sauce is delicious and low carb.
  • I topped the pizza with a combination of shredded mozzarella and fresh mozzarella cheese. You can use any cheese blend that you enjoy.
  • Top the pizza with your favorite toppings. Red onions, pepperoni, spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, or olives all work great!
  • Can Chicken Pizza Crust be made in advance? Yes. You can mix the ingredients for the crust and wrap it in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Garnish the pizza with fresh basil.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

  1. This sounds really good! Just wanted to confirm what type of grated parmesan cheese, the one in the green can found on grocery shelf? Can’t wait to make it! Thank you!

  2. in the email, you stated you used an egg. I don't see it listed here. Just curious if you need the egg as a binder or not. Thanks!!

    1. I did not use an egg in the crust. I don't know why I said that. I guess I thought about using one, but ended up not using it. Just chicken, cheese and seasonings.
