The past two weeks I’ve shared what we did in Asheville and where we ate. Today I am sharing all about where we stayed. We had the pleasure of staying at The Omni Grove Park Inn. It was AMAZING! We’ve stayed here before, many years ago. This was our first visit back since The Omni purchased the hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly. We were really impressed with the resort.
There are lots of places to eat, drink, golf and a spa on the premises. You could just check-in and never leave!
Keep reading to see our room, what we ate/drank at the hotel and a peek at the golf course!

You can’t beat the view upon arrival at The Grove Park Inn.

The Room
We had a Premium Mountain View room in the Sammons wing.
Room number 8032 for reference.

This was our view. Perfect view of the golf course.
Chicken Legs played the course one morning. More on that later.

The Lobby
They had a fire going in one of the lobby fireplaces.
It was perfect at night when it got a bit chilly.

The Great Hall Bar
We spent a lot of time enjoying the bar every afternoon.

My favorite cocktail was the Cosmo.
It was topped off with sparkling ros̩ Рyum!

We couldn’t resist the Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich off the Great Hall Bar menu.
It tasted as good as it looked!
There were lots of fun bar snacks on the menu. I wish we had more time to check them out.
The Property

Our room was on the 8th floor and we had great views of the property.

The Golf Course
Chicken Legs played golf one morning on the trip. I drove the cart and kept score.
The course is a par 70 course designed by Donald Ross.

The course was in really good shape.
There are lots of pretty mature trees and the front nine goes by some beautiful houses in the neighborhood.
If you have an opportunity to play, do it!
It was a really enjoyable morning on the course!!
We had a fantastic time at The Grove Park Inn.
I wish we had more time to explore the restaurants on property.
I guess that is perfect excuse to plan a trip back to Asheville!
