Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Unroll both cans of crescent rolls; separate into 12 triangles. Spread a heaping teaspoon of Dijon mustard on each triangle. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles.
  • Place sausage on wide side of each triangle. Roll up and place in prepared pan.
  • Top pigs in a blanket with shredded cheese.
  • Whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over pigs in a blanket.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until egg mixture is set.

  1. Not bad. I only used one 8-count tube of crescent rolls and cut them in half rather than thirds, and then put them in an 8×8 for my husband and me. My husband really enjoys breakfasts like this, while it’s not really my style. I took it out after 30 minutes but it wasn’t quite done, but after another 10 it was perfect.

  2. Delish! Definitely a keeper. Didn't have to use the 4 count crescents and reduced by one egg. Really cannot taste the Dijon mustard. It was great!

    1. I bet ranch would work, BBQ sauce, regular mustard. Prob anything you can think of that you think would pair well with the smokies.
