Meow Monday – pictures of cute cats to start the week!
We had a big week last week! We got new den furniture AND my friend Heather, Food Hussy, came down for a visit! Keep reading to see how everyone reacted to the changes!
Squeaky
Squeaky has been working her way into sleeping in the bed with us. She has always slept in the den. Over the past few weeks, she has been coming into the bedroom and climbing on top of me in the middle of the night. Well, we got new furniture last week, so her usual sleeping spot was disrupted. She took the opportunity to move into the bed. We are still working out some kinks. She still walks around the bed (and on us) during the middle of the night, and last night she vomited up a hairball on me at 4:00am. LOL!
Squeaky was excited to meet Heather over the weekend. Squeaky asked Heather for lots snuggles and pets. Heather happily obliged.
Jack
Jack finally agreed to let Squeaky get in the bed with him. He even let her sleep on the weighted blanket some. He is a little scared of our new den furniture, and he wasn’t sure about Heather. He did let her pet him a few times, but he mostly stayed in the back on his weighted blanket.
Nacho Man Kitty Savage
Nacho Man is the total opposite of the other two cats. He loves the new furniture and LOVED Heather. He spend a ton of time with her. He slept with her in the guest room, helped her get ready in the morning and snuggled with her on the couch. Little traitor! LOL! I did a cat count before she left to make sure he didn’t hop in her suitcase to go home with her.
Nacho Man is getting soooo big! All are very beautiful
He is getting big!! I think it helps that he is getting regular meals. He loves to eat wet food
Nacho Man is turning into a handsome kitty!
Haha this is so cute! Poor Squeaky, though. Or should I say poor you and that dang hairball? lol
Are you sure you checked my suitcase???? I love me some Nacho!
I so enjoy reading about your furry babies – and they are so adorable. My kitty, Cricket, crossed the rainbow bridge last March and I am just not ready for another kitty yet. She was 21 and had a nice, long life. So, right now I enjoy others' kitties and pups.
They are all so beautiful!
