Can you use frozen broccoli and if so then does it need thawed out first? Thank you.
This looks great but I have one question. After you have removed the bacon to drain do you use the bacon grease still in the pan for step number four along with the rest of step four ingredients or do you discard the bacon grease, it doesn’t say? Looking forward to trying this.
I usually drain it, but it is fine to keep it in the sauce. It will add more flavor if you keep it.
Could you replace the soy sauce with Worcestershire sauce? We have a soy allergy in the family!!
Hi. Try using amino acid to replace the soy sauce.
Going to try this tonight. My husband loves both broccoli and bacon!
This is sure to be a winner!
It’s not often the kids ask for second and thirds of the vegetables. This is one of those dishes.
Woohoo! Dinner success!
Could this recipe changed for an Air Fryer
I haven't made this in the air fryer. It would have to be made in an air fryer safe baking dish and cut down to fit inside the air fryer. Let us know if you make it work.
can you make ahead and then throw in the oven? Can you cook it at a higher temp for less time. Thanks in advance. I look forward to cooking this
You can make this ahead of time and bake when ready. I have only baked this as directed above. As always, please use your best judgment regarding substitutions and modifications.
