I didn’t have high expectations for this grilled chicken, but it is AMAZING! This really lives up to its name – The BEST Grilled Lemon Dijon Chicken. One bite and we were both blown away with how delicious this chicken tasted. There are only seven simple ingredients in this chicken. Who knew such a simple marinade would be so delicious!
How To Grill Chicken At Home
My number one tip for grilling chicken at home is to pound your chicken breasts to an even thickness. We put the chicken in a ziplock bag and gently pound it with a flat meat mallet. Having the chicken at an even thickness will make sure the chicken cooks evenly. No more half cooked half dry chicken!
We used chicken breasts for this Grilled Lemon Dijon Chicken. Feel free to swap the chicken breasts for chicken thighs or even drumsticks. You will just need to adjust the cooking time. Make sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165ºF.
As I said earlier, there are only seven ingredients in this Grilled Lemon Dijon Chicken. You probably have them in your pantry right now! Soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, dijon mustard, garlic, and pepper. Simply whisk the marinade together and pour over the pounded chicken. I like to let the chicken marinate overnight. If you don’t have that much time, just let it marinate a few hours.
How to Cook Grilled Chicken Without a Grill
If you don’t have a grill you can still cook this delicious Lemon Dijon Chicken. I like to pan sear the chicken in a skillet for 3 minutes on each side and then put it on a baking sheet in the oven preheated to 400ºF for an additional 10 minutes. You could also cook this in a George Foreman Grill or the air fryer.
