These Grilled Spicy Honey Lime Chicken Tenders were the best thing we ate last week. Seriously delicious! They are a little sweet, a little spicy, and a whole lot of YUM! I already have this on the menu again this weekend. I just can’t get enough of this yummy grilled chicken!
We ate this chicken for lunch and leftover during the week. I love having cooked chicken in the fridge for a quick meal. We like it on top of a salad or in a sandwich wrap. Heck, I’ve seen Chicken Legs eating this leftover chicken cold straight out of the refrigerator.
How to Make Grilled Spicy Honey Lime Chicken
This chicken is super easy to make. The chicken tenders are marinated in a combination of Italian dressing, lime juice, honey, chili powder, and red pepper flakes. SO simple! Put the chicken in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade in the bag. Seal it up and let it hang out in the refrigerator until you are ready to grill. I like to do this the night before we cook the chicken to give the chicken maximum flavor. If you don’t have that long, just let the chicken marinate an hour or two.
I used chicken tenderloins. I love grilling up a big batch of chicken tenders and eating them during the week. Feel free to use your favorite cut of chicken – breasts, thighs, drumsticks. Any chicken part will work just fine!
How to Grill Chicken Without a Grill
If you don’t have a grill, no worries! You can make these chicken tenders in a pan on the stovetop, in the oven, or on a George Foreman Grill. To cook them on the stovetop, heat up a little oil and cook the chicken 4 or 5 minutes per side. Alternatively, you can place the chicken on a baking sheet and cook it in the oven at 425ºF for about 12 to 15 minutes.

Could this be made and then frozen to cook later?
Ok, tyvm!
Do you think it would be okay to try this in the crockpot?
I haven't made this in the slow cooker, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. My only thought is that it might be a little saucy from the extra marinade in the crockpot
