Air Fryer Pecan Pie for Thanksgiving

Did you know that you can make a Pecan Pie in the Air Fryer? Did you know that it is easy and super delicious? The best part is that the pie is ready in under 30 minutes! YAY! Pecan pie is a must at our holiday meals. We have it for dessert for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love that I can make one of our favorite desserts in the air fryer!

How to Make Pecan Pie in the Air Fryer

Making a pie in the Air Fryer is very simple. Start with placing the pie crust in a pie plate. I used refrigerated pie crust, but you can make your own if you prefer. I folded the pie crust under the edge and crimped the edges with a fork. Next, make the filling. Whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Stir in some chopped pecans, pour into the pie crust, and bake. 

  • I cooked this pecan pie in a Philips XXL Air Fryer
  • I used an 8-inch pie plate and it was the perfect size.
  • Check the pie at 20 minutes and cover with foil if it is starting to get too brown.
  • I made this pie several times and found that chopped pecans worked best. When I made this with whole pecans they started to burn before the filling was done. 
  • How Long Will Pecan Pie Keep? Pecan pie will keep for about 3 or 4 days at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
  • You can freeze the cooled pie and it will keep for up to 3 months in the freezer. Make sure to wrap the pie tightly in plastic wrap and foil. I also put it in a freezer bag for extra protection.

Ingredients:

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust softened
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • dash cinnamon if desired

Instructions:

  • Carefully place pie crust in an 8-inch pie plate. Fold the edges of the dough under itself, so that the folded edges sit on the rim of the pie pan. Crimp edges with a fork, if desired.
  • Whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, and cinnamon if using. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour filling into prepared pie crust. Place pie in the air fryer basket.
  • Bake at 325ºF for 25 to 27 minutes.

Notes:

Can store pecan pie at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 3 or 4 days.
Can freeze baked pie. Thaw for 1 hour before serving.
