Pin This RecipeThis is a variation on one of our all-time favorite chicken recipes. We LOVED the chicken version, so I decided to see how the brown sugar and Italian dressing mixture would taste on pork chops. OMG! THE BEST! We both absolutely loved these pork chops. SO much flavor. The best part of this recipe is that is literally takes a minute to put together.
These 3-Ingredient Brown Sugar Italian Pork Chops are our new “go-to” recipe for pork chops. We’ve made them several times over the past month and love them every time. I do suggest lining your pan with aluminum foil. The brown sugar mixture gets sticky while cooking. The foil makes cleanup a breeze! Serve the pork chops with some green beans and scalloped potatoes for a quick weeknight meal!

3-Ingredient Brown Sugar Italian Pork Chops
Ingredients:
- 8 boneless pork chops
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 (0.7-oz) packet Italian Dressing Mix
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425ºF. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
- Combine the brown sugar and Italian dressing mix. Coat both sides of the pork chops with the brown sugar mixture. Place in prepared pan. Top pork chops with any remaining brown sugar mixture.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Turn broiler on HIGH. Broil pork chops until brown sugar caramelizes, about 1 to 2 minutes. Watch it carefully so it doesn’t burn!

Is there any way to get a calorie per serving?
I made these pork chops for the first time and they are yummy & easy! My family really enjoyed them.
Easy pork chop recipe with delicious results! Can’t wait to try it with chicken.
Can you make this in a crock pot?
yes
Can you make it in an air fryer
I just put it in oven and thought….. was I suppose to cover it???
No, it is baked uncovered
Could you use olive garden liquid dressing???
This recipe is for dry Italian dressing mix, not liquid dressing.
Do you use thin pork chops or regular?
I wonder How it would be on pork ribs ??
My money is on delicious!
How long would you do this in an air fryer? Or crockpot? My oven is broken and I really want to try this.
This was so delicious…and EASY!! Surprising how flavorful it was! The whole family loved it! I used zesty Italian seasoning 😀 Thank you!!
Can you use bone in chops?
Yes – just adjust the cooking time to ensure the pork chops are cooked to 145ºF.
Do you prepare the Italian dressing ? Or just dry rub them basically?
do NOT make the dressing
Delicious!!
I’ve made this twice now. So easy and it’s so flavorful. Seriously my husband thought I must have slaved away in the kitchen making this (silly man he knows me better than that). Anyways this is my third time but I’m doing chicken this time and it is just as lovely. Thanks for easy delicious recipes that even someone as allergic to cooling as I am can happily make
Do you just mix the dry brown sugar and packet of dressing mix, no liquids at all? In the picture there is liquid, does it just make its own liquid, and not be dry?
I made the recipe as written and this is how it turned out – just mixed the dry brown sugar and packet of dressing mix – no liquids at all
Can I do these with bone in chops? Would that change cook time?
You can and it would change the cooking time. They would need to cook longer.
Can you make this with Splenda brown sugar?!
I made the exact same recipe with chicken and everyone loved that so I am sure they will like this as well
Very good and quick meal! Made this last night and was a hit. Served with fried apples and baked sweet potatoes. Thanks for sharing this recipe!!!
This looks wonderful! What sides do you serve with this?
What is your chicken version recipe of this ? I would love to try it also .

If I’m only making four pork chops (only two of us here) what would be the preferred measurements for the brown sugar Italian dressing mix recipie?
is this sweet?
Hello!
Any tips for getting the mixtut to stick better to the pork chops?
If I don't have a broiler, what is my other option?
These were the best pork chops ever, thanks for sharing it!!
Are they thick or thin pork chops ?
Mine were about 1/2-inch thick
do you actual make the itlian dressing mix?
No – just use the mix
Can i use regular italian dressing in a pinch
Maybe try a few tablespoons of Italian seasoning instead of prepared dressing
I tried this and it’s delicious! Thank you!
Has anyone tried making this in a crockpot?
I’m sure it would be fine in the crockpot.
Thanks so much for the idea. I cook for my neighbor and every Friday is Pork night, so this is a new one to try for tonight. She too is very picky, but when it comes to Pork I can't go wrong. lol
This recipe was fantastic!!! So easy and delicious! Thanks for sharing!!!
it's in the oven now
I only have a packet of ranch — any idea if that would taste ok?
Only one way to find out! Give it a try. I love Ranch. Don't see how it could taste bad.
425°??
Do you salt & pepper the chops first, or is there enough salt in the Italian dressing seasoning?
I did not salt & pepper the pork chops first. I thought there was plenty in the dressing mix.
I have made this recipe several times. It is definitely a keeper!! Thank you for sharing!
What would you suggest for 4 chops instead of 8?
I keep it the same for 4 pork chops and just have extra sauce.
I use ranch and Italian cause everything is perfect with ranch! It’s our new favorite!
SO glad you enjoyed it. I’ll have to try it with ranch. YUM!
Would I be able to make this in my Crockpot? If so, would you suggest 6-7hrs on low? Thank you.
Thank you for this! I have a picky family of four (2 small kids) and no matter what I try I cannot find a single meal that all four of us like. Nothing. But this was it! 3 years of trying and tonight EVERYONE ate dinner and NO ONE cried!! I will be making this again and again.
Do you mix sugar and ranch in water
no
This was a great recipe! My whole family loved it and we recommended it to a friend who loved it as well! So easy and delicious! Thanks so much for posting it!
I made this for an early Valentine's dinner for my guys, and it was a big hit! This includes my husband and two young adult sons that still live at home. They loved it! Can't wait for my middle son, stationed in Korea (Army) to come home so that I can make it for him too! He'll love it! Served it up with bacon wrapped mac and cheese, and green beans. Yum! Thanks for all the yummy recipes! Love everything I've tried so far!

Those look really good! I like that they're easy to make. It's amazing how much liquid there ends up being.
Do you think I could grill the chops after marinating?
I don't know. I've only made them this way.
Your picture looks like there is so much liquid. Do you make the Italian dressing first?
no – just use the dry mix
Do u add water to the brown sugar and Italian dressing mix or no ?
