You MUST add these burgers to your menu ASAP! Chicken burgers are a favorite at our house, and these Awesome Sauce Chicken Burgers are at the top of the list. Ground chicken, honey mustard, teriyaki sauce, and hot sauce. One of our favorite flavor combinations! SO good!
We’ve been making these burgers nonstop for lunch, dinner, and for cookouts with friends. They are already on the menu for Memorial Day weekend. I can not wait! YUM!
How to Make Ground Chicken Burgers
These Awesome Sauce Chicken burgers are very easy to make. Simply mix ground chicken with some breadcrumbs, honey mustard dressing, teriyaki sauce, and hot sauce. Gently form the chicken into burger patties. Once the burgers are made, throw then on the grill or in a grill pan. Brush the burgers with some extra awesome sauce before taking off the grill for more flavor.
Unlike beef or pork, the chicken burgers must be cooked well-done to be safe to eat. Use a meat thermometer to make sure that the internal temperature is 165ºF.
You can make these chicken burgers ahead of time and refrigerate overnight or freeze them for later. I usually double the recipe and freeze half the burgers uncooked so we can have a quick meal later.
What to Serve with Burgers
These chicken burgers are on repeat at our house. We absolutely LOVE the flavors. There is a little kick from the hot sauce. If you are worried about the heat, don’t baste the burgers with extra sauce.
