How to Make Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Cups
This recipe is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Spray a mini muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place two frozen tater tots in each muffin cup. Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes.
While the tater tots are cooking, prepare the filling. In a large skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add ketchup, mustard, Montreal steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Cook for a few minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in cooked chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
Remove tater tots from the oven. Using a tart tamper tool, press potatoes into the muffin cups. Spoon cheeseburger filling into the potato cups. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the tater tots are a deep golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with parsley or green onions.

If you don’t have a tart tamper, what would you use?
Made them for dinner tonight with a salad and they were a huge hit! I didn’t have any bacon on hand and my son still ate 12 of them. Definitely making these again, especially with the bacon.
Is there a substitute for the Montreal steak seasoning?
I have tried numerous times, but I can’t get the recipe to print.

I thought I owned every kitchen gadget under the sun, but what the heck is a “tart tamper???”
I linked to it in the equipment section
I bought mine many years ago from Pampered Chef! I just used it to make mini tarts for Christmas. It presses the dough, or in this recipe hashbrowns, into a tart shape for you. Put the tater tot in the mini pan and just press it. You will love it.
