BBQ Ranch Pulled Pork {Slow Cooker}

This is the best pulled pork that I have ever made. I was super delicious! I loved the flavors. I ate leftovers for days and never got tired of it.

We don’t have a fancy grill that we can control the temperature on, so I made this pork in the slow cooker. I thought it turned out great. I prepped the pork the night before and refrigerated it overnight. I threw the pork in the slow cooker first thing in the morning and it was ready by dinner. It was fall apart tender! The BBQ sauce is a must with this pork – it is my new favorite. This will definitely be on our Memorial Day menu – it should be on yours too!

BBQ Ranch Pulled Pork

Pork
5 lb Boston Butt
1/2 (16oz) bottle Creole butter injector sauce (with injector)
1 (1oz) packet Ranch dressing mix

BBQ Sauce

1 (18-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
1 (1oz) packet Ranch dressing mix
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp dry mustard

For the pork:
Rub dressing mix evenly over pork. Inject butter sauce evenly into the pork. Wrap with plastic wrap, and place in a gallon ziplock bag; chill 8 hours or overnight.

Place pork, fat side up, in slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours.  Remove pork from slow cooker.  Remove fat cap from top.  Pull meat apart.  Toss with 1 cup of BBQ sauce.  Serve on buns with additional sauce.

For the sauce:
Stir together all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

  1. This was my first time cooking a Boston Pork Butt and using an injector. This recipe was so easy and the pulled pork was fabulous. Thanks for making our Memorial Day dinner extra delicious!

  2. The recipe calls for "1/2 (16oz) bottle Creole butter injector sauce." Does this mean add 16oz or add 8oz?
