Buffalo Dip Chicken Tenders

This was inspired by my Buffalo Chicken Potato Casserole. I really enjoyed cooking with the sour cream dip. It really got me to thinking about what other dishes I could make. I came up with this one and I like it as much as the potato casserole. How could these not be delicious? Buffalo dip and cheese slathered on chicken tenders topped with Fritos? That just screams YUM!

This was extremely simple to make. It only uses 5 ingredients, including the chicken. I whipped it up before my oven was preheated. I love those kinds of simple dishes! They are the perfect meals for busy nights.

Buffalo Dip Chicken Tenders

  • 2 pounds chicken tenders
  • 1 1/2 cups of crushed Fritos
  • 1 cup buffalo dip (I used Heluva Good brand)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Lay the chicken close together on a foil lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with garlic salt.

Coat with a thick layer of buffalo dip. Top that with the shredded cheese and then the crushed Fritos.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.

**If you can’t find the buffalo dip, add a few teaspoons of wing sauce to 1 cup of sour cream.**

  1. Cheryl – I am not sure about the yogurt. If you try it let us know. It sounds like a great way to cut back on calories.

  2. I wonder if plain yogurt, livened up with some herbs or spices would work — or does yogurt break down when it's baked. Regardless, this looks yummy!
