Just four simple ingredients and you have a great party dip/dessert in minutes. The hardest part about this recipe is letting the dip chill in the refrigerator before serving.
There are only four ingredients in this Butterfinger Dip – cream cheese, cool whip, brown sugar, and Butterfinger candy bars. Simply mix everything together and refrigerate. I served the dip with some Nilla Wafers and sugar cookies. This dip would also be good with fruit, graham crackers, and pretzels.
This sweet dessert dip is great for any upcoming tailgates or holiday parties. You can make it a few days in advance and refrigerate until ready to serve. I took this to a football party last weekend and it was gone in a flash! I was so sad I didn’t have any leftovers to take home. Guess I will just have to make it again this weekend! SO good!!

Butterfinger Dip
Ingredients:
- 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 (8-oz) container cool whip, thawed
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 5 (2.1-oz) Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
Instructions:
- Beat cream cheese and brown sugar with a handheld mixer until light and fluffy.
- Fold in cool whip and Butterfinger bits until fully incorporated.
- Cover and chill until ready to serve.

So easy, and so addictive! I added a little splash of vanilla, to offset the sourness of the cream cheese. So good!!

yes
Hey can you use butterfinger bits in the bag they sell in the baking section? If so, how many bags you think I’ll need. Another question, do you think it’ll be fine to sub one cream cheese with sour cream?
You need about 10-oz of crushed Butterfingers.
Subbing sour cream doesn’t sound that great to me, but you can make this however you would like.
You can also change out the butterfinger with crushed Heath bars!!!
Light brown or dark brown sugar
Either is fine. I used light.
